Ancestor Summer Fun

Friday, 27 May 2011 | by Mark Tucker

Yesterday was the last day of school for my children and summer vacation has official begun.

The Photo

Coincidently, yesterday a cousin posted the following photo on a family Facebook group:

The photo is of my great grandmother, Florence Reich Bunce, and her daughter Emmie Irene taken in Aug 1962. My 89 year old ancestor is about to spray her 67 year old daughter.

The Challenge

What photos do you have of ancestor’s summer activities?  Whether it be camping, a picnic, or water fun post your photos and include a link in the comments section.

Have a great summer!

Stay cool!
