In preparation for my presentation this Friday at the BYU Genealogy Conference, I updated my slides and posted them on SlideShare:

This slide presentation goes with the syllabus material that I posted earlier.

Hope to see some of you on Friday at 1:30pm.

  1. Great job, Mark. I enjoyed paging through it. However, it shut down my IE7 at slide 81 or 82 for some reason.

How much time do you have for this talk? 60 minutes with questions? 90 slides? Talk fast, my friend. Actually, I’ve been running about 1.5 slides per minute myself as I’ve gone to fewer words and more visuals. I think more visuals keep the audience interest up although it’s hard for them to write down URLs sometimes.

Good luck on Friday – I know that you’ll dazzle them with your slidework!
